Nuts and Bolts of Touring. Pack your bag – and your harp strings – and get ready for a fabulous experience. From an expert, insights into Takin' It ON THE ROAD!

Music from Many Nations. Lecture and demonstration of world music with African drums, Chinese instruments, rhythms and scales that will capture your imagination.

You Can Compose! Using inspiration from around the world, you will learn to write your own composition that will be WORLD PREMIERED in the course!

If They Can Do It, So Can I! How composers use music of their culture to impact their writing, from Bartok to Gershwin

The Whole Package. Learn how to put together a fabulous presentation. You will write the script, plan stage design, and learn the intricacies to make your future concerts spectacular.

Rehearsal Etiquette. No matter where in the world you are performing, there are professional requirements that will enhance your success immeasurably. A fun look at what to do – and NOT to do!

Buddy Practice. An invention of AZ Harp Experience, this has got to be THE way to practice. Have a TA or buddy help you to focus and learn faster. And it's FUN!

Rhythm and Ear Training. We'll take those intriguing African rhythms and play them on Egyptian finger cymbals. We'll have upbeat competitions and group polyrhythm exercises.

Pass On Your Knowledge. In this extraordinary learning experience YOU will become the teacher of a young harpist. Learn to work with your student and then perform together in ensemble in a public concert. And – look! – you are a teacher!

Inspirational Moments At The Pool! Every day will start with an insightful reframe on your day, plus tools and techniques to have you excel to your highest potential and be joyful in the process.

A World Class Concert! In this public concert you will play trios from around the world with your buddies (music will be sent ahead) and the piece you wrote the first day will be World Premiered. Special guests will be the St. Paul's UMC Harp Choir, who have become your students. And you designed the script – what a lifetime achievement.

Solo Recital. You will perform your solo of choice in at the beautiful Tohono Chul Park, Tucson. The audience will love you, and you will have a chance to practice all the tools you have learned.

Power Tools for Success. Dr. McLaughlin has just released a fabulous book, Power Performance. This class will teach you all of the insights and techniques that you need to become the most outstanding harpist possible. Prepare to be fabulous!

Jazz Harp. Learn to improvise and play off chord charts. An easy and fun welcome to the world of jazz.
